Sabz is made by one person in the UK. If something isn't working, or a diagnosis looks wrong, write and tell me — replies usually come within two working days.

Common questions

Is my data private?

Yes. There's no account and no analytics, and your plants, photos, care history and diagnoses stay on your iPhone. Photos leave your iPhone in two cases only — to suggest a species when you add one, and as part of a Check-up (with a care summary and any note you write) — and are discarded straight after analysis. The full policy explains it in detail.

What does a Check-up cost?

Free to start: three Check-ups are included. After that, Sabz Care — [£3.99 a month or £29.99 a year] — gives you unlimited Check-ups. Everything else stays free forever: plant tracking, reminders, the species library and pet-safety information.

Which plants are covered?

104 species, each with verified pet-toxicity from the ASPCA's lists for cats and dogs. You can still track a plant that isn't in the library — you'll get care logging and Check-ups, but no toxicity record for it.

A diagnosis looks wrong. What should I do?

Tell the Check-up what you're seeing — it will reconsider. If it's still off, send me the plant's species and what you observed and I'll look at why.

My pet ate a plant.

Contact a vet immediately. Sabz's toxicity information is a general guide for cats and dogs, not veterinary advice, and it isn't exhaustive.
